On The Real ReEdit Radar, Met Gala 2026 Edition!

Rather than dish on and make snarky comments about those that absolutely diminished themselves in the red carpet, I’ve chosen to ONLY highlight those that made this Met Gala at least palatable, if not inspiring. These were on MY radar.

Zoe Kravitz – Flawless in YSL (w/ Anthony Vaccarello) (Photo: Elle Magazine)

Cara Delevigne is perfected pared down in Ralph Lauren as livestream co host. She didn’t need to do any more than that, as she wasn’t an attendee- but she looked more chic than most of the attendees. Hair and Makeup is lovely. (Photo: Instagram)

Angel Reese
… Lovely in custom Altuzarra – a little short on the “art” part of the theme, but it’s great seeing athletes do fashion well. (Photo: Instagr

Katy Perry in Stella McCartney- better with the head mask on, though lovely without it as well- very futuristic without being costumey. I’ll allow it. (Photo: Instagram)

Irina Shayk in Alexander Wang – Obviously a beautiful woman, and the fit is impeccable. I would have loved to have seen the arm jewelry travel all the way down her arm and to the rings in the finger to mimic an opera sleeve. That would have made the point of fashion’s interaction with the body as art. However, I’ll allow it. (Photo: Vogue Magazine)

Tessa Mae Thompson in Valentino- did NOT disappoint. The blue, the sculptural swishes providing movement around her décolletage and torso. Chic, easily. (Photo: Instagram)

Sabine Getty in custom Studio Ashi couture. THIS is ART! Best-Dressed contender, daring anyone to take her throne. (Photos: BuzzFeed)

Doechii in Marc Jacobs… QUEEEEEN! A MOMENT!!!! (Photo: Vogue.com)

Kris Jenner giving Mary McFadden meets Gloria Vanderbilt vibes (which is kinda FAB, actually!) in Dolce & Gabbana. I’ll allow it. (Photo: Instagram)

Most Clever (tie)… Artist Amy Sherald in a Thom Browne look that references her own work. THIS is high ART!

Sarah Paulson in Metieres Fecales, calling out the 1% in a look from a collection whose theme was exactly that. I love the “meta” of it all. (Photo: Instagram)

Most STUNNING… Anok Yai in Balenciaga… In this emotional homage to Cristobal Balenciaga’s F/W ‘49 couture collection, she always manages to squeeze emotion out of a Fashion moment. (Photo: Instagram)

Most on-theme (and best-dressed… by a landslide!)

Jordan Roth in Robert Wun. Fashion, Art, AND its relation to the body. Tens across the board, case closed. (Photo: Instagram)

That’s it, Folks. See you the first Monday in May of 2027 !!!
